Robert Dahan BE (Civil)
Executive Director
Robert graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1984. He began his career with a substantial civil contracting company ultimately rising to the role of General Manager, where he was responsible for the management of both private and public sector projects with an annual turnover of $70 million. Robert has also been involved with the Civil Contractors’ Federation at National Board Level for approximately ten years.
Angelo Forte BE (Civil) (Hons)
Executive Director
Angelo graduated as a Civil Engineer with Honours in 1986. He began working in the civil contracting sector, specialising in city excavation and site remediation. He has a reputation within the industry of working with clients to develop cost and time effective solutions for some of the most challenging projects in NSW and Southeast Queensland.
Stuart Muir BE (Civil)
Managing Director
Stuart graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1988. He joined a leading civil engineering contractor as Site Engineer, progressing to the role of Project Manager. In 1996 he relocated to Asia for four years where he gained valuable building experience working as a Project Manager in the residential building sector. Upon his return to Australia he joined Mainland Civil as Project Manager, moving to the role of General Manager. Stuart’s understanding of both civil and building works gives him a better working knowledge of client requirements. In 2015 Stuart was appointed as a Company Director and Managing Director in 2022.
Duncan Sheil BE (Civil)
General Manager
Duncan has over 25 years’ experience in the demolition and civil industry from the ground up to senior management. He has worked on projects across sectors from residential, commercial, industrial, mining and infrastructure. Duncan has gained experience in demolition, civil, asbestos, hazardous material and remediation. Since joining Mainland Duncan has been involved in some of Australia’s largest and most challenging projects in both the civil and demolition areas of the company. Duncan’s focus is to ensure that the delivery of projects across civil and demolition are always to the highest level as expected by our clients.
Bobby Jovanovski BE (Civil)
Operations Manager (NSW)
Bobby joined Mainland Civil in 2012 as a Civil Engineer having worked in the demolition and construction industry both locally and abroad. Bobby combines an excellent understanding of client expectations and ways to achieve project outcomes with creative problem solving abilities and well developed interpersonal skills.
